Solutions for Food Truck Oil Recycling

Operating a food truck offers numerous advantages such as direct customer access and easy catering without the burden of complying with city grease trap cleaning regulations. However, 1 recurring inconvenience is the frequent trips to the local commissary for essential supplies like water, ice, propane, and the costly disposal of fryer grease.

The recycling facility at First Texas Grease provides a solution to this problem. We have a dedicated, high-capacity used grease container conveniently located on-site. You can easily dump your used grease into the container and dispose of bulky jugs. The container is accessible 24/7, allowing you to drive up, dispose of the oil, discard the boxes, and be on your way hassle-free. Contact us now for FREE service!

How It Works

Behind our office, we have set up a 300-gallon container just for food trucks to dump your used grease into. The alley is very wide and can accommodate the longest and widest of food trucks. Pictured is what you will see when you drive behind our building. The red container is accessible and close to our dumpster which you are free to throw the waste jugs and boxes into.

Pour slowly

Be Sure to Pour Slowly

Pouring the oil slowly will help prevent spillage across the front of the container, and most importantly prevent splash to you. The last thing you want is to be covered in oil, so just make sure to initially pour it slowly. Once the pour is stable, feel free to flip the box upside down, as pictured, and let it flow freely.

Collapse your boxes
Crush your jugs

Collapse Your Boxes and Crush Your Jugs

When you're wrapping up, make sure to remove the jugs from the boxes. With the box removed, pull it apart at the seams to flatten it out. This lets us hold more containers and ensures there is space for you the next time you dump the oil.

When throwing away the plastic jugs, push it down from the top and push the sides inward. Once it is collapsed all the way, put the lid back on it and screw it tight to make sure it doesn't reflate.

After you dump the used oil and get rid of the trash, that's it! There is no need for any paperwork (unless requested).
